Built from a thousand retakes.

Poiema is an AI film studio for short films, animation, ads and social video. It was made in London and launched on 26 September 2026.

Why I built Poiema

I came to AI filmmaking the hard way. Every film meant jumping between separate tools, describing the same characters again in every prompt, and generating the same shot over and over until a face finally matched the one before it. Most of my time went into trying and retrying, not into the story.

Poiema is the studio I wished I'd had. It keeps your script, your cast, your locations and every shot together in one project, so each new shot builds on the work you've already done instead of starting from nothing. Pip, the Copilot, does the heavy lifting. You stay the director.

Everything I learned the slow way is built in, so you don't have to learn it that way too. If you have a story, you should be able to see it on screen.
