What is Poiema?

Poiema is an AI film studio. It turns a script or an idea into characters, storyboards and cinematic video, and keeps a whole film project, from cast to final cut, in one place.

Do I need a finished script?

No. Start with a prompt or a reference in the Creative Studio. If you have a script, bring it into a project and work with Pip to organise the cast, scenes and shots.

Can I make just an image or a short clip?

Yes. The Creative Studio has separate image and video tools. You can make a single output without building a whole film project.

How much control do I have?

You choose the model, references and supported generation settings. In a film project, you can direct individual shots and review different versions. Available controls depend on the model and tool you choose.

Which AI models does Poiema use?

Poiema brings leading image, video and voice models into one studio, including Veo 3.1, Kling 3, Seedance 2, Runway Gen-4.5, Nano Banana, GPT Image, ElevenLabs and Cartesia. You choose the model for each image or shot, and the available models are listed in the app.

Can I keep the same character across every shot?

Yes. Characters, locations and props live in your project’s lorebook with their reference images and looks. Poiema passes those references into each shot, so the same face, outfit and setting carry through the whole film.

Can I make ads and product videos?

Yes. Add your product and brand once, then create ad concepts, product shots and short promotional videos, in the Creative Studio or as a full ad project.

Who owns what I make?

Poiema does not claim ownership of the output generated for you, subject to payment and applicable law. You are responsible for reviewing it and making sure your use does not infringe anyone else’s rights. The Terms of Service have the details.

How does generation pricing work?

Generation uses credits, with the cost depending on the model and settings. Start with a low-cost trial, then choose a monthly plan when you’re ready. You see the credit price on every Generate button before anything runs.
